I remember myself being a completely unrefined individual, having my own naïve definition of the word “Professionalism”. This one year 2013-14, changed my life and me as person. Northpoint gave me another perspective to life. This one year, taught me the real meaning of not only professionalism but true dedication towards anything in life.
While colleges have given us boundaries to think and a path to follow, Northpoint gave me an open ground to expand my creativity, explore and think seamlessly. The numerous sessions, the workshops, the exposure etc are few opportunities which any college would offer. Northpoint offered pretty much the same, but the difference was “I had no boundaries to make the best of these opportunities and essentially I was treated, not like a student, but like a professional”.
I felt, the pressure I used to have during the course was way too much and unreasonable. But when I stepped into the real world working at Lowe, I realised how imperative that pressure was. Those late nights for assignments, last minute project submissions, it all seemed unrealistic while facing the same. Perhaps, because Northpoint taught us, trained us and exposed all of those aspects to us, the real ad world stress doesn’t seem all that heavy on the shoulders.
I would be more than happy and delighted to come and individually address the new batch of students at Northpoint. My special thanks to all at Northpoint. Nothing would have been possible without all your encouragement, truthful advice and unconditional endeavours. The biggest and the most important reason for my valuable learnings, success and experiences I had in this one year are you all.
It’s difficult to gather those uncountable treasurable moments and instances on a piece of paper. However to sum it up, people say “When you work, you gain experience”, but I say “When you’re from Northpoint, you have profound knowledge and experience”.
Thank you again
Best Regards
