Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers. The process involves creating a unique name and image for a product in the consumers’ mind, mainly through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme.
We had a two day session with Mr. Vikas Mehta on Branding, where we learnt about the various aspects of brand strategy.
It was an interactive and interesting session and we actively participated throughout the course of the lecture. Some important facts were brought to light
This lecture has helped us understand the concept of the 4 P’s (Product,Place,Price,Promotion) and In today’s day and age, gaining the long term loyalty of consumer is a company’s first priority . The organization aims at providing services which satisfy the wants and needs of the customers and consumers. Brand strategy includes the mission statements which shows the broad intent of the company and their core competency
We were asked to apply The BCG model to a case study and then conduct a SWOT analysis.
The concept of corporate strategy was also introduced where we learnt that the role of consumers is more important than that of the customers.
Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to having more sessions with Mr. Vikas Mehta.
