Learning is always more enjoyable when there is a balance of both theoretical and practical learning. Spread over a span of two days , we had an engaging session where we first learnt the basis of qualitative research and understood what all the field comprises of.

Post that, we had to go to the villages in Khandala  and interview villagers about the usage of smartphones. This was an absolutely enriching experience because we actually had a one on one conversation with these people to gain information that gave us better insights about the penetration of smartphones in India.

Post this we made a video and presentation on our understanding of the project. It was very intriguing to know the mind-set of the people in a rural set-up and how different it is from the urban society. The simplicity of the people along with their spirit to grow gave us a lot to think about.
